In addition to her work at Nextera Robotics, Lana Graf is a principal investor with the Disruptive Technologies and Funds Group at the International Finance Corp., (IFC), a private sector arm of the World Bank Group. There she leads the deals in artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep tech, and robotics aligned with the IFC's principles for Global Impact. IFC defines Global Impact as investments made into companies or organizations with the intent to contribute measurable positive social or environmental impacts, as well as financial returns.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Lana spent more than a decade as a corporate executive in the AI/Robotics sector. She has developed extensive expertise implementing advanced technologies and process automation solutions across several areas, including big data analytics, industrial IoT, AI/ML, cloud operations, and enterprise software platforms.
Lana holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and serves on the advisory boards of many companies and startups developing successful solutions in AI, blockchain, and robotics applications. Lana started her professional journey as a corporate lawyer doing international commercial arbitration in the Oil, Gas, and Energy sector. Her passion for industrial automation and robotics in the field led her to become a robotics engineer and a highly respected expert in AI and ML. Lana frequently speaks at industry conferences and believes in the importance of women tech executives supporting each other.
