Prior to joining AWS, he was Head of Strategic Partnerships at MakerBot, the global leader in desktop 3D printing. Dr. Panushev is the former co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Horizontal Systems, acquired by Autodesk in 2011, which laid the foundation of Autodesk BIM 360 and became the company’s fastest-growing cloud offering. He developed sections of the National BIM Standard (NBIMS) and served as Vice President of Engineering at Building Works, Inc., where he co-authored two books on building technologies published by McGraw-Hill. Dr. Panushev holds Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in engineering and design, all from Harvard University.
