大卫Unkeferis a Senior Construction Engineer providing national technical assistance to FHWA and its partners. Recent experience includes leadership and technical support for deploying ‘Digital As-builts’ via the FHWA’s Every Day Counts program, as well as BIM for Infrastructure, including 3D engineered models, digital project delivery and inspection, construction automation and enterprise data management. He is an advocate for using alternative contracting methods, such as design-build and construction manager/general contractor. He has been with FHWA for 28 years holding various engineering and leadership positions in nine states. He is a professional engineer with degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and Purdue University.
