Douglas Dunkelbergerhas joined consulting firm Terracon as a principal, based in West Palm Beach, Fla., the firm tells ENR. The new position follows Terracon's June 13 acquisition of West Palm Beach-based Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing Inc., of which he was founder and CEO. About 60 Dunkelberger employees have joined Terracon. Dunkelberger, which provides geotechnical engineering, environmental assessments and building inspection services, will currently retain its name as a Terracon unit. Terracon ranks at No. 38 on ENR's Top 500 Design Firms list.

The Construction Industry Round Table has elected as its national chairmanSteven T. Halverson,president and CEO of design-build firm Haskell, Jacksonville, Fla. He will lead the Washington, D.C.-based advocacy group of 110 design and construction firm CEOs for one year.

Weaver
