Frank Bardonaro Jr.has joined Terex Corp., the West port, Conn.-based manufacturer of construction cranes and other equipment, as vice president and managing director of its Americas cranes unit. He was president and CEO of Amquip Crane Rental Co., Bensalem, Pa. Bardonaro is chairman of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association, an international trade group of more than 1,300 members from 43 nations. He was cited in 2009 as an ENR Top 25 Newsmaker for spearheading a local safety standard for tower cranes that served as a model for others nationwide. In his new Terex role, Bardonaro replacesMarco Gentilini,who has been named to the newly created position of vice president of cranes business integration.

Pankow, a Padasena, Calif.-based integrated project delivery firm, has namedDennis Reylingas vice president and manager of its Southern California special-projects construction group. He had been the chief operating officer at Hopkins Real Estate Group and, prior to that, president of R.D. Olson Construction. Pankow says it is one of the largest U.S. design-build contractors, with additional offices in Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland, Calif.

Nicklaus,senior vice president of business development, is the former chairman of Executive Sports International, a global sports marketing firm, as well as the vice president of business development for Nicklaus Cos., a firm founded by his father, golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Erin Murphyhas joined Coastal Construction Group, Miami, as vice president of its new affiliate, Coastal Environmental Services LLC. He had been an external senior audit manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in audit and enterprise risk services for public and private companies. Murphy formerly worked for Coastal Environmental from 2003 to 2006 as a laborer, assistant project manager, assistant estimator and accounting clerk.

Kevin McCarthyhas joined EDG2, a McLean, Va.-based design firm specializing in mission-critical facilities, as vice president and corporate technical officer. He was director for data-center development at Corporate Office Properties Trust and served as senior systems engineer at American Power Conversion, responsible for new product development and product application design.

ISEC Inc., an Englewood, Colo.-based specialty contractor, has elevatedDavid Herzelto vice president. A 25-year company veteran, he will continue his duties as Northwest regional manager. ISEC ranks at No. 60 on ENR’s 2009 list of the Top 600 Specialty Contractors, with annual revenues of $250 million and 1,000 employees nationwide.

Kenneth Baybutthas joined Bowman Consulting, a Chantilly, Va., environmental services firm, as a branch manager based in Williamsburg, Va. The new role follows the firm’s acquisition of the Virginia operations of civil engineer and water-resources firm Bury + Partners, Austin, Texas. He had been its managing principal.
