He will focus on growing the biosolid and energy-recovery practice in the southwestern U.S. and globally. Whitlock is a recognized leader in anaerobic digestion and biogas utilization.

Deron Brownhas assumed the role of president and chief operating officer for U.S. operations at PCL Construction. Brown takes over responsibility for PCL’s U.S. buildings and civil operations fromShaun Yancey, who will retire in February. PCL also namedCathy Orquiolaas vice president and district manager of the company’s California buildings division, where she will oversee all operations throughout California, including Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County.
