Clark/Byrne, a San Antonio-based joint venture, constructed a 225,000-sq-ft replacement terminal at the San Antonio International Airport. The $109-million, five-phase project was delivered on time in November 2010 despite the work taking place between two active terminals and during a roadway project.

The eight-gate four-level terminal incorporates a concrete and steel structure with a curtain wall, metal wall panels, stone veneer and both thermo-plastic and standing-seam roofs.

The project team expanded the existing baggage handling facility by 13,000 sq ft and also constructed a 6,000-sq-ft central utility plant.
